Knitter, reader, sewer, berry-picker and homemade jam-canner; volunteer doula and wannabe fiction writer... Living in the nation's capital, pining for Texas and Vermont. DREAMING of pancakes from Kirby Lane Cafe and kolaches from the Czech Stop in West. Longing for the laid back vibe of the Green Mountain State, and creeks clean enough to wade in. But still. Making a go of it here by the foamy Potomac. (And loving life quite a bit.)
